David & Layla won the Audience Award (2007) against La Vie en Rose, 2 Days in Paris and Lady Chatterley among the top 'Love' films of International Cinema at the oldest Amour film festival in the world held during Valentine week in Europe. It had a successful roll out Theatrical distribution in U.S. major cities from summer 2007 onwards, with a Valentine's Day opening at The Quad in New York in 2008, ending at The Kabuki Sundance Cinema in San Francisco in March 2008.
