Hama Jaza died in his hometown of Slemani after a long battle with cancer. Hama Jaza was a well known singer who’s popularity grew in the late 70’s and early 80’s with each song he released. He is particularly well-known for his traditional songs called “Lawanawa”. Mohammad Jaza died at the age of 61. He was born in 1949, married and left behind 6 children. He will be greatly missed by all of us in and out of Kurdistan.
